Ishida exhibits his new, frightening strength by destroying Jiroubou’s Soul Slayer with a single shot from his bow. He uses his Quincy powers to finish Jiroubou off by stripping him of his Death God powers.
Meanwhile, Ichigo and Ganju are reunited. While running away from a group of countless Death God’s, they run into Hanatarou Yamada, a weak boy who is eager to save Rukia as well. He agrees to escort Ichigo and Ganju to Shrine of Penitence, the tower Rukia is being held at.

Pulls up by Ganjyu while Ichigo puts his sword at his throat

Hanatarou: (Cried knowing that he became their hostage) Aieeeeee...

Shinigami: Stop there, you stupid intruder! Your ugly face makes me sick!
Ganju: What! That pretty boy I've fought was more worse! So stop talking craps about other people's looks!
Shinigami: What did you say?! You ugly Intruder?!
Ganju: (Say to himself) It's too late to win an argument with them.
| Kenpachi and Yachiru(who is on his back) are trying to find Ichigo and Ganju
Kenpachi: Are you sure this is the way?
Yachiru: I'm sure of it, well...probably.
Kenpachi: Probably?! I've been running in this path and still we can't find them.
Yachiru: Stop nagging. Ah, turn to the left.
Kenpachi: Are you sure?! This doesn't look like the right road?
Yachiru: Well then don't listen to me. Go wherever you want to go. I'm too lazy to show you.
So Kenpachi turns to the left. The scene changes and turns out that they've gone further from Ichigo
Kenpachi: Are you sure this is the right road?
Yachiru: I'm sure of it. Maybe....
Kenpachi: 'Maybe'? 'MAYBE'?!
