Ichigo must battle an old enemy of the soul society, who killed 69 seated officers without breaking a sweat. He drains half of Ichigo's reiatsu drained. He proves to much for Ichigo, Rukia and Renji. So they call Soul Society's help. They try there best, and Ichigo finally figures Bashin out. The both go ban-kai, and Ichigo finds out his weakness. Can he beat Bashin, when the Soul Society struggled.

Baishin merged with his zanpakotou.
 
Once Ichigo beat bankai Baishin, he went back to his zanpakotou forum.
 
Rukia has her shinigami powers back.
 
If this was an episode, it after episode 63, but due to the fillers and manga not following each other, it wouldn't fit into the Bleach storyline. So if you count the fillers as, this story would almost be like dream, because of Ichigo's bankai, and Rukia's return is early.
 
Mass amounts of Hollows attack the city, due to the amount of spirtiual power in the area.
 
Once again, Zaraki gets lose by Yachiru directions.

If you go off what Rukia said in episode 2, no can hear, see, smell, or feel a shinigami or spirtual being. Then why is she trying to direct the people after the hollows attacked the city?
 
The second OAV also takes during the same time pace as the Bount arc and Movie. The time frame, isn't as ruined or mixed up. Still a goof having all three at the same time.
 
From the Bount Arc that was near the exact same time frame as this movie, Ichigo shouldn't have been able to go bankai.
