Ichigo and Rukia just finish up battling a hollow, when a bunch of white things invade town. And Kon see a mysterious man, well Ichigo and Rukia seen a mysterious Shinigami who beats all the blanks by releasing zanpakuto.

Rukia goes back to the Soul Society and Ichigo tries to chase after Senna, but is stopped by Matsumoto and Hitsugaya. Who go to Urahara's shop to explain the current situation. Because in the Soul Society was a mirror image of the real world.

As show as Rukia and Renji arrive Hitsugaya and Matsumoto are there to help. They enter and help battle the Dark One's. With the help of Kenpachi Zaraki, with Yachiru Kusajishi hanging from his back.
