Well now that we know that the movie will be released in December of this year. I'll update any information I get about the movie here. There will be tid bits of imformation released about the moive in weekly in the Anikichi section of Jump.
The next update one the movie will be in July 31st, in issue 35 of Jump. It happens before the Bount Arc and the Hybird Arc.
So far this is what they have about the movie. Strange occurences have befallen Karakura City! Soul Society has issued an official first class warning provision! The influence of darkness is spreading because of a terrible plan that has been set into motion. One hour until the collapse of the world…will Ichigo and his friends be able to save the world in time?
Lots of bankai in the movie.

So if we don't see some of the other bankai by that time, we might see some of the cooler ones. |

From what I read, on those sites. They really haven't said much. I really can't read Japanese 
My best guess according to the news is a movie theathers.
In the Sayaiman release of Gintama, they left a commercial for the upcoming Bleach Movie. According to the clip, which was confirmed to be true by omniscient of Random Curiostiy, the movie is schedualed to be released in Japanese Movie Theaters in December. Loosely translated, what is written says: News from Bleach 7.
It will be only be in Japanese. It will have to be subbed Viz. I think Bleach Society and DB might sub it at some time.
There is a trailer there, I would recommand IE for this, but if you saw this video at TV Tome it is the same. |

Depending on how well FMA's theatrical run does stateside, they might start relasing anime movies in the theater. I mean, there are a lot of anime fans out there, and I'm sure the industry would love to sap 8 bucks out of them before they run off and inevitably buy the DVD. If FMA doesn't get a huge release, hopefully it'll at least come to DC. |

The movie is set to air in December 16th of this year. There has been more updates there, but sadly I can't read Japanese language. But they added a character page, and it looks like another Shinigami is on the side of the bad. They also have the big bad guy there now. If anyone can read Japanese please tell what it says . |
