Arrancar:
(Spanish: "to rip off") Arrancars are hollows that have removed their mask, either by their own means or been forced to by Aizen-sama. Thanks to removing their mask they have obtained strength beyond regular hollows and shinigami-like powers. They are ranked according to their power and position in hueco mundo (Spanish:"Hollow world"). The strongest are part of espada (Spanish: "sword"). These beings demonstrate great power sometimes been able to taken down a shinigami of level vice-captain or higher with ease. The espada can handle more than one captain at the same time. They are usually the 4th level of evolution for a hollow.
| Gigai:
Body that the Shinigami use to materialize their spirit to exist in the Real World...Otherwise known as "Faux Bodies"
| Kido:
It is demon magic that Shinigami's use for combat purposes or healing purposes. There is two types of combat kido, binding and blast spells. Binding is used to hold an opponent in place or restrict there movements. Blasting is can be an type of elemental or just anything that is meant to injury there opponent. Kido is released by chanting a spell, but also can be released without saying the chat, like a Zanpakuto. The higher the level the harder it is to perform. Most shinigami's can't do level 90's or higher kido at its fullest.
| Shinigami:
Shinigami is basically a death god into English, but the dubbed uses Soul Reaper. There spiritual beings, that can't be seen by anything without spiritual powers. There jobs, are too: keep the balance of souls for the Soul Society and human world, slay hollows and guide people up to the Soul Society.
| Zanpakuto:
(English "soul cutting sword") Are katanas that most Shinigami's carry around. Zanpakuto have there own soul and realm. They have different releases, shikai and bankai. They use them as weapons each having different abilities, some can even be elemental, kidou, or force.
