Blondie (1968)

Blondie (1968)

This series was the second one based on Chic Young's long-running comic strip and aired on CBS for half a season in 1968. Patricia Harty (fresh from Occasional Wife) played Blondie Bumstead, Will Hutchins ( long removed from Sugarfoot) played Dagwood Bumstead, and JIm Backus (having just gotten off Gilligan's Island) played Dagwood's boss, Mr. Dithers. 14 episodes were filmed but only 13 had aired when CBS pulled the plug on the series.
