The scene opens with two men talking about a heist that they are going to do. A man with an accent is introduced and tells that they are going to be three minutes and that is all. Henry comes into the station and meets with Frank. He tells that he got a sandwich for him and tells that he got his new ID and it has “retired” written all over it. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Danny talk about the pictures that he saw the pin of the “Blue Templar” on his jacket and tells that he was told Danny was one too. Danny asks if Jimmy is a cop or a reporter. At the same moment, the bad guys rented a ConElectric truck and they drive to the location. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Sgt. Renzulli get the call of a domestic violence case and Renzulli knows who it is. They go to see and Alice is outside with an inflatable pig and a sign that is saying that her husband is a pig. Jimmy tells Alice that she can’t do what she is doing and takes away her blow horn and deflates her pig.

At the Diamond Exchange Company, the crooks enter dressed as an Electric Company and clean them out. Things go without any casulties until an officer walking by sees a gun in one of the crook’s bags and tells him to freeze. The one with the accent shoots her and she manages to shoot one of the men. Henry is still with Frank in his office when a person walks in and says that an officer is down. Michelle Martin was the victim and she was pronounced dead on scene leaving behind a 6 year old boy. He tells that he doesn’t want any officer to go home until they have more information on this. At the crime scene, every officer is there and Danny arrives on scene with his new partner Jackie Curatola, is introduced and they find out that the crooks got away with $5 Million and they have ID’d the crooks as tall and white. They see the blood trail and Danny tells that belongs to the guy that Michelle shot. Frank meets with the heads of the departments and tells that he wants everyone on this case and he is informed that the FBI is involved too. He tells that he wants the truck found. Frank meets with the family of Michelle and tells them the bad news. They break down and cry for the death of their daughter, wife, and mother.
Sidney meets with Linda and Linda tells that the media is going to run the story for a little bit but the family is left to suffer. Sidney says that she hopes that it will never happen. Linda tells that she holds her breath until she finds out that it is not Danny. She tells that she feels relieved because it is not her Danny. At the station, Curatola tells that they have video footage but it is blocked by an Electrician. Ten minutes to the heist and he is working on it. This is no coincidence. They bring him in and threaten that he is going to jail and is never going to touch his children again. He tells that he is $50,000 behind on his debts and that is why he took the job. Danny is so sickened that he tells the guy to turn around. Danny demands for the name of his bookie and it is Ricky Vantano. They go to Ricky’s place and he is gone. The beer on the kitchen counter is still cold. Frank arrives and tells that they have Ricky’s father “Happy Jack” on surveillance and they found the ConElectric truck. Frank tells that Danny needs to catch the crook and he agrees. At the station, they have another surveillance tape that they are looking at. This shows Ricky Vantano getting out of the van. An detective tells that a man named Billy Leo and he tells the identity of the three robbers. Some Albanian nicknamed “The Monster”, Ricky Vantano, and Jimmy Costello. He tells that he remembered the license plates of the rental that started with MA. They exit the interrogation room and Danny tells that Jimmy C. was the kid that was convicted but had his dad sent him to Montreal. They are going to locate the black Caddy.

Frank goes home and finds that Erin’s daughter is there back from San Francisco. Erin tells that she is 2 weeks behind in her schoolwork and Frank tells her to go do it. Henry comes in and tells that Happy Jack’s son Ricky is the primary suspect in all of it and tells that he remembers when Happy Jack killed a guy that was a cop killer for the department. Frank tells that he never liked the fact that Henry likes the grey areas. He tells that Happy Jack was on their side. Henry tells that that back in the day, everyone knew where the line was and what it meant when they crossed it. Frank blames himself for the death of Michelle, but Erin tells that he inspires people. The next day Henry visits Happy Jack and tells that he needs to tell Ricky to turn himself in and he tells that he will do something about it. They exit the shop and the FBI is watching Henry shake hands with Happy Jack. Danny and Curatola find the Caddy and they break into the car. They pop the trunk to find Jimmy Costello.
Danny and the rest looks at the surveillance video a couple of days before the heist and they center on Dukason Kola “The Monster” who is the killer. He is a professional killer and that he doesn’t like to share the cut. Later, Henry asks if Frank has seen part of his uniform and Frank asks how his talk with Happy Jack was. Harry tells that the only way they are going to get Ricky is through Happy Jack. At the funeral of Michelle Martin, Frank gives the eulogy and tells that Michelle was devoted and gave her life. At the end, Michelle’s son salutes Frank. After the funeral, Danny gets news that Ricky called his dad. They listen and Ricky’s father tells him to turn himself in. They go to Park Chester to visit Ricky’s girlfriend and find that she is leaving with baggage. Curatola puts a gun to her head and Danny stops Ricky getting out of the car. They take Ricky to a pier and Curatola doesn’t want Danny to do anything stupid. He tells her to look out for him and turn away. She does and Danny takes Ricky to the same spot that Happy Jack killed a mobster that killed a cop. He threatens him and Ricky tells that the man they want is in a warehouse.

They go to the warehouse and Kola comes out with guns blazing and all of the NYPD open fire on him. He is dead. Jimmy and Renzulli drive by Alice to find that she has a real pig this time and they ignore it. At Frank’s house, Henry tells that Frank needs to calm down about him helping out. He tells him to remember the “Retired” words on his ID. At dinner, Erin tells that bad guys are bad guys. Henry tells that times are changing and nowadays, kids are listening to Lady Goo-Ga instead of Sinatra and other bands. They laugh and the episode ends.
