The scene opens with two men asking a vendor for Louis and a man comes out. It is Louis. The men chase him down and Louis is hit by a car. A man by the name of Pablo comes out and tells that Louis must pay the money or else. Later, Erin is walking into work and she tells that Louis Suarez, the guy that got hit by the car, split to Puerto Rico and won’t testify against Pablo Torres. Meanwhile, Danny tries to give Jamie Henry’s old “slapper” and Jamie tells that he doesn’t want to use it. Outside, Erin talks to Charlie Rossellini, the District Attorney, and she tells that she is going after Pablo Torres and Erin tells that the Learning Center is funded by dirty money and she tells that Esteban is going to jail if he refuses. Charlie tells that she is determined and gives her the green light. He tells her that he has his eyes on a bigger prize.

The Mayor talks to Frank and tells that Charlie wants his job. Frank tells that he has been a strong District Attorney. The Mayor tells that Frank is a high profile figure and should be side by side with him. Frank tells that he doesn’t get involved with Politics. Esteban Torres comes in Erin’s office and she tells that his bill have become due after dealing with the devil. She talks about the learning center and he tells that Pablo pays for it. Erin tries to convince him to testify against his brother and Esteban tells that he won’t testify. Erin tells that he is going to face jail time for having the dirty money. Erin tries to show him how Pablo makes his money by showing pictures of people in bad condition, but he still keeps to the claim. Meanwhile, Sgt. Renzulli and Jamie go to Mrs. Mueller’s home, a woman who recently died, and tells that she died holding a tuna can. Jamie goes inside and Renzulli smiles. Charlie comes into Frank’s office and tells that he is running for Mayor and would like him to stand next to him. He tries to use Erin as leverage and Frank tells him to leave.
Outside the Learning Center, Esteban tells that if he is going to do this, it has to be on his terms and he is going to have to tell Pablo first. Erin tries to tell him that Pablo is going to snap at the sound of the news, but Esteban tells that he doesn’t think he will. At Frank’s house, Frank, Jamie, Danny, and Henry are sitting around and Danny tells that he offered Henry’s old “slapper” to Jamie and he turned it down. Jamie tells that they are not allowed anymore and Frank backs him up with it. Henry tells that it could save Jamie’s life one day and he still refuses. Meanwhile, Erin and the police sergeant are waiting outside a church when Pablo Torres gets out of a car and goes inside. She is told that they have cameras all over the place. Pablo goes up to Esteban and they talk about the issue and Pablo tells him to testify on him. He tells that everything will be fine. He leaves and then goes up to Erin’s car and shows that he knows where she is.

The next day, Erin goes into the police station and shows Danny the file he has on Pablo and asks for some help on it. He tells that he will help. At Frank’s, Jamie is cleaning Joe’s old car and Frank comes out and tells that it was Joe’s pride and joy. He tells for Jamie to take it and Jamie agrees. He asks what happened to Joe and Frank tells that story about how Joe was chasing down a criminal and then a second one came out of nowhere and shot Joe 4 times. He tells that he found Joe’s girlfriend a little ago and tells that she is going to be moving to Portland. Meanwhile, Danny and Hotchkiss visit Omar Vasquez, the store manager who got hit with a Colt 45 by one of Torre’s men. He tells that he has nothing to say and they leave. Jamie visits with Angie and she tells that she is leaving for the same reason Jamie became a cop. She tells that Jamie can have a box of Joe’s things that she found. He accepts them and says goodbye. Erin sets up to have the police go after Pablo and they enter the club hard, but Pablo is found slumped over the table with blood everywhere. Erin is in her office when she gets the call. Pablo Torres is dead.
Erin sits down with Esteban and tells that his brother is dead and that they believe that he is next and offers the protection. He tells that he won’t be able to testify because there is nothing left. He tells that he needs to get working at the Learning Center for the kids. Danny and Hotchkiss evaluate the body of Pablo and they tell that Pablo was the king and now that he is dead, Esteban is not going to be safe and also that someone is going to take his place. Danny’s sergeant goes up to Erin and tells that the camera at the Club worked last night. Erin goes to Danny and Hotchkiss and they look at the video. They find that Grumpy is the killer. They go inside and arrest Grumpy in the alleyway after a chase. Meanwhile, Jamie asks Sidney if she is going to come home for dinner and she tells that she has a disposition to write up. Jamie opens up Joe’s box and finds the manual for the new car and an iPod. In the car, he listens to it and hears a recording of an investigation of the Blue Templar and tells that the FBI cannot be trusted.
At the station, Danny and Hotchkiss tell that Grumpy has no chance to get out of prison. Erin goes up to Charlie and tells that Esteban is willing to help out but that he needs protection. Erin tells that the office can protect him, but he once again refuses and won’t testify against the gang. She goes to Frank’s and Henry asks if he can help her with her case. She tells that she has a witness that won’t testify. He tells the story of how Frank lived with the witness and threw himself down three flights of stairs when the assassination came. Frank calls Danny. He tells that he needs to call up Grumpy’s guys and set up a hit to get Esteban to scare him into testifying. Danny grabs Grumpy’s phone and Hotchkiss wants to know what he is doing. He tells that he is going to tell Chavo to get going on the hit for Esteban. She tells him to do it. In an alley, Chavo receives a message that tells him to kill Esteban. They tell that it will be done tonight.

Later that night, Chavo and his guys go to the Learning Center and Esteban is closing up. The men are outside and inside, Danny tells Esteban to stay quiet. The team moves in and chase after the men. Danny uses the “slapper” on one of them and arrests them. At dinner, Jamie and Danny have a little argument about the right and wrong of police work and Danny plays it off as that Jamie is a rookie and that he doesn’t understand it all. Jamie walks out and Frank goes out to talk to him. He tells Jamie that Danny is tough on him only because he wants Jamie to be tough. He tells him to handle the job. The next day, Frank gives Charlie the advice to open the Learning Center again and make a statement as Mayor. Charlie takes his advice and reopens the Center. They watch it on tv and Erin asks if Frank had anything to do with it. Esteban testifies against the men and admits that he accepted money from his brother and tells that anyone who has a brother would understand. Danny and Jamie look at each other and the episode ends.
