<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The scene opens with Erin and Frank at the shooting range. Erin is a sharp shooter. Erin asks if he misses the job and Frank says that he misses the reality of it. He says that he heard that Erin is getting out more. She tells that she is. Meanwhile, three men put on masks and get out of a van. At the station, Sgt. Renzulli tells the officers about a new officer, Officer Luisa Rosa. Renzulli says that Jamie is going to ride with Sosa this time. They tell that they know each other from the academy. Renzulli says that they can catch up. Rosa says that she is married now and Jamie says that he is newly single. Jamie says that they are running Bingo Bags. Meanwhile, the three men are in a bank with guns. They steal the money and one man reaches for a gun and shoots one of the men. The man who is getting the money is left behind and is surrounded by the police officers.

Frank gets into work and Baker briefs him. They get into the office and Garrett Moore says that there is a hostage situation going on now. Danny is leading Detective and Garrett says that he shouldn’t have it. Danny gets briefed as to what is going on and Jack Condo, the negotiator, comes up and says that he is going to try to talk him out first. Danny says that he has to get the two men lose on the streets where they need to be. Curaola shows Danny a picture that they got when a woman comes up and says that a man has a gun. They go to the restaurant where the woman came from and find one of the shooters, who Danny recognizes as Vinnie Vareo. He says that he knows a guy who would know about what he was doing. Danny meets with an informant and he says that Vinnie was working with an amateur. Meanwhile, Jack gets in touch with the hostage taker and he thanks him for answering. He tells that the hostages are fine and Jack is relieved. However, he won’t give his name. Jack tells Curatola that they are going to wait it out now.

Jamie and Sosa are waiting at a park bench with a decoy to set people up to steal it. Two kids come over and look at the purse. They pick it up, but give it to a uniformed cop on a motorcycle. Back at the bank, Jack tries to call the hostage taker again. He says that the man is fine and that he is not likely. Curatola tells Danny that the hostage taker is a cop. Danny arrives at the bank and Jack negotiates and says that they know that he is or was a cop. Frank arrives and gets an update. Frank pulls Danny to the side and tells that they have a duty to do their job regardless. Bella Halera is the tattoo that they found on the cop inside with the hostage. Frank goes into his office and says that he needs the roster of the Special Investigation Unit. Danny and Curatola find the van and have the CSI try to speed up the processing on the fingerprint. The van was taken from the hospital lot. Back at the bank, the man who was shot tells the cop that he doesn’t have a Plan B.

Danny and Curatola go to the hospital and ask the nurse to pull up any records on Vareo. There are none. When she is asked to pull up patients, she says that she is hungry. Danny looks at the computer and finds nothing. They find out that a lady named Lacey is probably their best bet because she is Moran’s girlfriend. Frank calls Danny for an update and tells him to look at the arresting officers of the crime that Moran and Varea did together. He sees that it is Billy Flood. The cop inside the bank is a former member of Frank’s SIU team. He says that Billy was the best of them. Danny and Curatola talk to Lacey and she tells them that she doesn’t know where Moran is. She blames the yelling on her son. Danny says that he is going to call his friend Pauley and have her son taken away from her while she serves time for hindering an investigation. She tells them the location where Moran could be. Henry, Erin and Niki are watching the hostage situation and Henry says that he knew Flood and that he terminated him after he was drinking on the job.

Danny and Curatola arrive at the garage that Lacey gave them. Curatola looks in a place and Moran jumps out and puts a gun to his head. Danny surrenders and Curatola takes the guy down. He says that he gives up and Danny punches him. Back in the park, Jamie and Sosa catch a guy trying to steal the purse and arrest him. Danny gets to the bank and sees a picture of Flood’s daughter. Inside the bank, the hostages say that they are not going to stop him from killing himself. The bank teller tells Billy that they need to get him out of there. Danny says that he knows Flood and wants to talk to him. Jack refuses, but Danny grabs the phone and asks to come in and get out the injured hostage. At Frank’s house, Linda tells Erin that she wishes that Danny would have stayed in construction sometimes. Back at the bank, Danny gets the go-ahead to go in the bank and retrieve the hostage. Henry, Erin, Niki and Linda watch as Danny walks inside without a gun.

Danny gets inside and says that he is just there for the guy. He manages to do it without getting shot. He goes back inside the bank. The Captain doesn’t like that they got Frank’s son inside. The snipers get the green light to kill Flood. Inside the bank, Danny tells him to allow the girl to go and he says that he can’t determine whether he is going to kill himself or let the snipers do it. Danny says that Flood needs to look at the picture of his daughter and not allow her to grow up without her father. Flood says that he only needed $100,000 for the heart transplant for his daughter and that no one was supposed to get hurt. He says that he has made the wrong choice and says that it needs to end now. He tries to move toward the window and Danny takes him down and arrests him instead. He is taken into custody and the hostages are secured.

Later at the house, Henry reads an article saying that Frank is getting out of touch because of the fact that he allowed Danny to go in the bank. Linda shows that she is not happy that Danny went inside and goes into the kitchen. Danny follows and Linda says that she was scared that Danny was going to get killed and then they were going to be left to fend by themselves. He apologizes to her. Niki asks Erin what she would do if she needed a heart transplant and Erin says that she would rob a bank too. Henry tells a story of when Frank was little and had a sickness, the ambulance was going to take him to a hospital who wouldn’t treat him and Henry aimed his gun at the EMT and told him to do it regardless if he is authorized. They toast to his success and the episode ends.
