Hoss helps bring together a widowed mother and a man whose girlfriend has left him. They get married but Hoss' help has a negative effect on the marriage. Hoss introduces Wade Tyree to Abigail and her daughter, Bonnie, in the hopes that it will stop Wade's constant drinking. After Wade and Abigail get married, things start going bad and much to Hoss' chagrin, goes back to his old ways. It's up to Hoss to bring the broken family back together
