Bones: The Maggots in the Meathead
When Booth and Brennan are called to investigate decomposed remains found at the Jersey Shore, the team IDs the victim as Richie "The V" Genaro, a 23-year-old who partied the night before at a popular nightclub. Booth and Brennan question Genaro's peers and the club bouncer, and Brennan surprisingly proves her pop culture savvy and anthropological expertise after watching what she believes to be a documentary on the inhabitants of the Jersey Shore, but was in actuality a reality show set there. Meanwhile, at the lab, the team grows fond of Booth's girlfriend, Hannah, and Angela tries to keep her pregnancy a secret

Recap
The show opened with an elderly man joyfully using his metal detector on a lovely day on the beach. He found a few coins and eagerly searched further down the beach, discovering a costly silver chain. He pulled on the chain, finding it stuck on something heavy buried in the sand. He tugged harder on the chain and pulled up a decomposing body, mostly skeleton by now.
Special FBI Agent Seeley Booth and his blond girlfriend, Hannah, were pictured enjoying a bouncing bed scene when her phone rang, her boss summoning her to a breakfast at the White House the next morning for a presidential briefing on something important. They both commented that they had never seen such active maggots and wondered what was making them jump like that.
The corpse was taken to the Jeffersonian for further investigation into the death of the young male. He was determined to be a "guido", a member of a young men's body building local group, some of who ingested steriods and energy drinks. The maggots were found to be high on ephedra, an ingredient found in energy drinks, thus the leaping actions.
Hodgins, freshly returned from a sojourn in a local mental facility, found the corpse to have several fractured vertebrae and the skull harboring a sizable concrete sliver. It was assumed that a large piece of concrete was used to hit Richie over the head, jamming the head down on the vertebrae and shattering them, causing instant death...
