Despite being busy working on her latest novel, Brennan helps Booth identify the remains of a 6-year-old who was found dead after going missing from a local park. Brennan's investigation determines that Charlie was sexually abused before his murder, leading Booth to believe they are on the hunt for a pedophile.

Brennan: You called a special meeting to invite us to a party?
Dr. Goodman: Don't think of it as an invitation. Consider it a summons.
| Hodgins: Zack has been informed that if he tells anyone who I am, I will kick him out on the street like a stray dog. Sadly, there's nothing I can threaten you two with.
Angela: Yeah, that's a shame.
| Zack: It makes me look like the Great Gazoo.
| Angela: Anger is only fear turned inwards.
| Angela: What do you guys talk about when he drives you to work?
Zack: I mostly sleep. Hodgins mostly yells at the radio.
| Angela: I'm an artist. I used to draw naked guys. Now I draw dead guys.
| Booth: (about Hodgins) Paranoia and delusions of grandeur ... all in one package.
| Booth: You're actually one of them, aren't you?
Angela: One of who?
Booth: A squint. I mean, you look normal and you act normal, but you're actually one of them.
Angela: This whole mass recognition program was Brennan's idea. I'm completely normal, really.
Booth: Yeah, maybe before you got this job.
| Brennan: You're not going to fire us if we don't go?
Dr. Goodman: No, not fire you, but I can move your parking spot to Lot M. Enjoy the shuttle ride.
Zack: The shuttle smells like feet.

| When Booth and Brennan are in Brennan's car, Brennan presses the button to put the top down. In the immediate next shot, the top is down with no transition.

| Temperance: It makes me look like the Great Gazoo.
The Great Gazoo was a green alien on The Flintstones. He was quiet short and had magical powers that could teleport objects, make things appear, make himself and other things levitate, and so forth.
| Booth: Angela didn't get the training the rest of you guys got on the planet Vulcan.
Vulcan was a planet inhabited by aliens that used logic in all there decisions in the Star Trek universe. Vulcans also suppressed all of their emotions as they thought emotions got in the way of rational thought.

Darth is a reference to Darth Vader of the Star Wars movies written and directed by George Lucas. Darth Vader was critically injured and had to wear a full body suit that acted as a respirator and prosthetic limbs.
