  Episode Quotes
(After losing someone in the underground catacombs.)
Temperance: He didn’t need any light. He knew exactly where he was going.
Booth: Yeah, that’s creepy.
Temperance: He lives down here.

(After Harold Overmeyer told Booth about how he killed a woman with a child to save his men.)
Booth: You did what a soldier had to do.
Harold Overmeyer: But ya,… ya know, I, I was a good soldier. I was a very good soldier, but a pretty bad human being.

Zack: We got most of the skull. There’s just a piece missing about the size of a quarter.
Hodgins: Why are missing pieces always the size of quarters? Why are tumors always the size of grapefruits?

Booth: What’s the monetary value of this thing?
Dr. Goodman: Priceless. You can’t put a value on our cultural heritage.
Booth: I think someone did and that’s why Marni’s dead.

(To Temperance.)
Booth: Ya know, you amaze me. You know Treasure of the Sierra Madre, but you don’t know Charlize Theron. You know who you are? You’re my grandmother.

Angela: I’m not nervous. I’m scared. I don’t know how to talk to crazy people, unless I’m dating them.

(Over the radio.)
Booth: What’s your 20, Tac Team Three.
Tac Team Three Leader: According to this map, we’re with you.
Temperance: They aren’t with us.
Booth: I realize that, Bones

Temperance: Okay, I bet tic-toc team is here, two levels above us.
Booth: Don’t call them tic-toc team, okay. They’re Tac Team Three. It’s short for tactical.

(Over the radio.)
Booth: Tic-toc three?
Tac Team Three Leader: Did you just call us tic-toc?
Booth: Tac Team Three, stand-by.

  Cultural References
Booth: Kyle hit the Duke with the candlestick in the crypt.

This is a reference to the classic board game, Clue, where you try to solve a murder.

Booth: Did you ever see Treasure of the Sierra Madre?

Treasure of the Sierra Madre is a film from 1948 about three men who go out into the hills of Mexico to find gold and in doing so, their morals get tested.
