Booth and Brennan are called to the scene when an El Salvadoran gang member is found with a corpse of a woman in the trunk of his car. As he is questioned at the scene, a drive-by shooting gives him an opening to flee police custody. Booth and Brennan find where the woman was originally buried -- a soon-to-be-excavated community garden -- but find another empty grave nearby. Their investigation leads them to a wealthy senator's estate where the truth is hard to come by.

| Hodgins: Typically, grave diggers are necrophiliacs looking for a good time.
Angela: Um... Ew! | Booth: 0kay, Hodgins suit up. You're coming with us. We're going to the barrio.
Hodgins: Fieldwork? Cool, do I get a gun?
Temperance: You can't arm Hodgins and not me.
Booth: What is it with you people and the guns, huh? | Temperance: Why would a gang leader cooperate?
Booth: (Sarcastically) I'm gonna ask him very, very nicely, Bones. | (Sitting in the back seat of the car.)
Hodgins: I called shotgun. What does it mean to a society, when the niceties are no longer observed? | Zack: This is interesting.
Angela: Interesting or horrible? Sometimes it's the same with you. | (After beating up Ortez.)
Booth: You feel better?
Temperance: Yeah, I really do. | (After stopping the hit on Temperance's life by threatening Ortez with his.)
Temperance: Where were you?
Booth: I had something to do.
Temperance: More important than a funeral?
Booth: I thought so at the time. |
