  Episode Summary  
As Brennan works to identify the remains of a Jane Doe, she is shocked when she finds that the remains are that of her mother who went missing with her father 15 years ago. The unexpected news that her mother is dead hits Brennan hard, but leads Booth to open an investigation into the case for the first time. His investigation provides some shocking news -- Brennan's parents were living under assumed identities -- all of which forces Brennan to deal with a new reality.

Hodgins: The Fugitive was the third top grossing film of 1993.

The Fugitive started out as a TV series in 1963 about Dr. Richard Kimble, who is accused of killing his wife and must find the real one-armed killer while avoiding Marshal Sam Gerard. The big screen adaptation of 1993 starred Harrison Ford as Dr. Kimble and Tommy Lee Jones as Marshal Sam Gerard.
