The officer Bones and Booth interviews mentions that they are in the migration area of the masked booby. However, the masked boobie does not migrate into the U.S.

While Brennan and Booth are driving in the car, the scenery by Brennan goes the wrong way.

The images of the chemical profiles Hodgins compares shows an anomaly that Hodgins attributes to Booth spilling juice on his tie. However, this same anomaly image is seen on the gas found on the bones.
