Emily Deschanel (Brennan) injured her left eye while filming this episode. Because of this, writers had her wear an eye patch as a part of her costume.

Booth: Yeah, I know I can, but we caught the bad guy alright? We don't need to go undercover. What're you doing, digging for loose change?
