1x8: Choose recap: The scene opens with Meredith and Kane talking and Meredith tells him that Ben Zajac was going after him. He tells Meredith that they had a pact and she says that he never spoke the truth to her. She lies and says that she was looking for his interests. Kane comes clean that he is sick, but doesn’t tell her with what. He says that everyone who is trying to take him down are going to feel his wrath. He says that she is going to have to prove her commitment if she is going to stand by him. She tells him the truth and says that the entire thing was in play already. 1x7: Stasis recap: The scene opens with Ezra telling Kane the update and says that everything is on hold and says that the impeachment threat is not in effect anymore, but there are people protesting. Kane asks Ezra about what is going to happen and he says that they need to turn the public to his liking. Kane asks what they are going to do and says that his liking to Ben Zajac as Governor has turned a lot of people against him. 1x6: Spit recap: The scene opens on Saturday, the day after Gabriela Reyes mentioned of the cover-up. Kane goes into a bar and talks to an old friend, Ryan Kavanaugh and asks to talk to him. He says that he can spare time for him. Meanwhile, Ross meets with Ezra Stone and tells him that they want Kane to gracefully step down or else they will start the impeachment process. He asks who is involved in this and he says that the wheels are in motion. Kitty meets with Elliot McGantry and he says that the citizens of Bensenville have a good case. She tells him that the Mayor will look at this and get back to him. Kane walks with Kavanaugh and reminisces on old times. He tells him that he is thinking of quitting, but Kaveanaugh tells him that it is not going to happen because he is a good man and has done a lot. She tells him that she has spent her life trying to explain things. Darius says that he has no clue what she is talking about and Emma says that it is complicated. They kiss and she tells him not to stop this time. On Wednesday, Ezra Stone tells Kane about it hit the media and that they are going to have to stay on top of it.
