Recap

The scene opens on Saturday, the day after Gabriela Reyes mentioned of the cover-up. Kane goes into a bar and talks to an old friend, Ryan Kavanaugh and asks to talk to him. He says that he can spare time for him. Meanwhile, Ross meets with Ezra Stone and tells him that they want Kane to gracefully step down or else they will start the impeachment process. He asks who is involved in this and he says that the wheels are in motion. Kitty meets with Elliot McGantry and he says that the citizens of Bensenville have a good case. She tells him that the Mayor will look at this and get back to him. Kane walks with Kavanaugh and reminisces on old times. He tells him that he is thinking of quitting, but Kaveanaugh tells him that it is not going to happen because he is a good man and has done a lot. Ben calls Kitty and tells her that he needs to see her. She asks what is going on and he says that he is thinking of dropping out of the race run next year for Mayor against Kane. She tells him that is suicide. He tells her that it doesn’t have to be like that and that they could get on top of this. ..
