The scene opens with Ezra telling Kane the update and says that everything is on hold and says that the impeachment threat is not in effect anymore, but there are people protesting. Kane asks Ezra about what is going to happen and he says that they need to turn the public to his liking. Kane asks what they are going to do and says that his liking to Ben Zajac as Governor has turned a lot of people against him. Ezra says that they need to turn the public to the time when Kane was better. He reminds Kane that his hearing of the Bensenville plaintiffs is today and says that they need a wildcard.
