Syndicated crime drama based on series of B-movies that ran in the 1940's. Kent Taylor starred as Boston Blackie, a former crook who now worked for the right side of the law as a private detective in Los Angeles. Blackie was a friend of those who had no friends and an enemy of those who made him one. Lois Collier co-starred in the series as Mary Wesley, Blackie's galpal and assistant. Frank Orth rounded out the cast as Inspector Faraday of the LAPD.
