Boston Legal: Too Much Information

Alan Shore bails out Catherine Piper after she goes on a spree of convenience store holdups.

Meanwhile, Denise Bauer sues an HMO for inadequate internet security that led to a brutal murder -- all the while trying to get through to her hospitalized boyfriend, Daniel Post, who won’t take her phone calls.

And, as the partners begin to see Beverly Bridge’s influence on Denny Crane, Brad Chase makes her a proposition and tries to convince her to leave Denny.

Episode Quotes
(Trying to bribe the store owner.)
Alan: He'll make Dotson look like... a late model BMW.
Store Owner: Can he make the seats look like leather?
Alan: He's a miracle worker.

Catherine: Excuse me, officer. Can I get my gun back please?

Alan: Regarding the the settlement, I have to agree.
Denise: Thank you, Alan.
Alan: Not with you. (Looks at the client.) With you. The offer's insulting these people need to be taught a lesson.

Denise: This is why people don't ask your opinion a lot?
Alan: Most likely.

Bev: Don you know who I am? I'm Denny Crane's fiancée.
Sandwich Guy: Yeah, so?

(About her impending trial)
Catherine: This gets top priority.
Alan: As it should, given you're facing 25 to life.

Ming: Happy ending, Mr. Crane?
Denny: Well not today, Ming. I'm engaged now.

Catherine: Hello Denny, do you remember who I am or did I leak out your wiffle ball brain?

Bev: The sandwich guy didn't disrespect Beverly Bridge. He disrespected the fiancée of Denny Crane. He disrespected you.
Denny: That son of a bitch.

CEO of HMO: If we had upgraded to a more secure system, more people would have had to do without health care.
Alan: And yet fewer would have been murdered.

(To Catherine in her jail cell.[i/])
Alan: Don't go anywhere.

Irma Levine: Mr. Shore, I wish I could get you to come to the shelter. So many of the women there desperately need legal advice. Someone who will speak to them open and honestly.
Alan: Are they cute.

Irma Levine: I new you could win this, Mr Shore.
Alan: Well that's usually the safe bet.

(About the pickles Denise brought him.)
Alan: That's the nicest... chemo gift I've ever received.

Episode Goofs
When Brad noticed his tie on fire on the table, he got up and the tie was not on fire. They cut away and then back to him and his tie was on fire again.

Cultural References
Bev: There's a thing called Protein Style.

Protein Style refers to a way to diet as in the Atkins and South Beach diets. In these diets, carbohydrates are eliminated in favor of a heavy protein consumption.

Alan: There are only 2 get out of jail cards in the game and you used them both up.

This is a reference to the classic board game, Monopoly.

Episode References
Shirley: No chopping off fingers!

This is a reference to the episode, 'Gone', where Brad accidentally chopped of the fingers of a priest with an ax.

Alan: There you are. I've hardly seen you this episode.

This is the first time Alan has broken character, but the second time in the series. Denny broke character in 'Gone' when he said he won an emmy, which really William Shatner did.
