Episode Quotes
(Joan Rivers bumps into Gracie Jane outside the court room.)
Gracie Jane: Hey, I'm standing here!
Joan Rivers: Well, drop dead, Crime Slut!

(As the defense team enters the courthouse.)
Joan Rivers: Jeffrey, Joan Rivers, who are you wearing?

(As Sally walks away.)
Brad: I used to date that woman. That gives me the first right to redate her.
Alan: Hmm, I see. Since we’re going by high school rules, I dated her after you did.

(To Gracie Jane.)
Denny: Come on, you and me,… 10 minutes of chubby sex.

Shirley: You had sex with her?
Denny: Cheap sex, the best kind.

Denny: I promise you. Once I enter into an exclusive relationship, I sleep with very few people.

Alan: I must admit it, Denny, I don’t like that there’s a huge trial going on in this firm and you and I aren’t front and center. Makes it difficult to remember that in life,… it’s not all about me.

Cultural References
Brad: Who are you, Columbo?

Columbo is a Detective portrayed by Peter Falk who act incompetent and slow witted in an attempt to catch the criminals who thought there were a step ahead of him.

Episode References
(To Brad about Sally.)
Alan: What do you want to do? Wrestle me for her?

This is a reference to the episode, "Fine Young Cannibal", were Alan wrestled Denny for the opportunity to date Shirley.

Denny: This may be the mad cow speaking, but didn’t we fire you?
Jerry Espenson: I left under unfortunate circumstances.

This is a reference to the episode, "The Cancer Man Can", where Jerry didn't make partner and he held a knife to Shirley's throat. It was an act that got him fired.
