Boston Legal: Guantanamo By The Bay

Alan Shore sues the United States on behalf of a client who was tortured for two years at a detention camp. Meanwhile, Jerry Espenson begs Shirley Schmidt to let him have his job back at the firm -- despite the fact that he'd once tried to kill her -- and Claire defends a lawyer who committed a sexual assault after hearing a prank radio program proclaiming the world was coming to an end.

In the opening scene, Jerry Espenson hums the theme song throughout the whole opening, as well as scenes of him humming are spliced into the opening credits.

Even though credited, Mark Valley (Brad Chase), Julie Bowen (Denise Bauer), Constance Zimmer (Claire Simms) and Gary Anthony Williams (Clarence/Clarice Bell) do not appear.

Although credited and appearing, Meredith Eaton-Gilden (Bethany Horowitz) does not speak in the episode.
