| Joke of an episode with a few serious notes

Well Boston Legal is getting more comical every season. That's the way it's been different from "The Practice". This show lives of dysfunction, laughs,
cheap sex jokes and improbable scenarios.
I liked this show the first couple of seasons but the last couple of seasons the creative juices for this show have been dried up. Alan shacks up with one of the lawyers and uses her. Now he's in bed with a judge who wants to have a baby with him!!! LMAO. It doesn't stop there, we now see a new lawyer, Lorraine, working for the firm who is one of Alan's favorite sluts.
Speaking of jokes, there is Clarence and Jerry. Why God Why must we put with them? I get it that they are there for comic relief but revolving a show that is supposed from the same guy who created "The Practice"
makes the show into a joke as well and a circus.
Jerry, and a new attorney get called into to defend a black man who allegedly murdered a woman. The guy looks like a killer and scares the dickens out of Jerry so much that he cries to Alan for help!!!
Alan eventually gets involved (begrungingly so). This is a two part episode of sorts as the case doesn't get resolved till the next episode but
for me the writing was predictable, the twists were seen a mile away and having the show revolve around the comic relife is a bad sign if it is trying to be series. Then again it's Boston Legal and the last two seasons while they've had a couple of dramatic episode are more geared for laughs.
