Meanwhile, Shirley Schmidt's granddaughter asks for her day in court when she's expelled from school for trying to make a social statement; Carl Sack informs Shirley that he feels ineffective at the firm and wants to return to the New York office; and the fate of Lorraine Weller's position at the firm is unknown when she comes clean about her past to Shirley.
