Whatever happened to the DVD releases, Season 4 was due to come out this past January, and TVShowsonDVD even posted cover art and everything. Then poof- it was postponed and never mentioned again.
Anybody know if there are still plans to finish releasing the rest of the seasons? And it just figures that they'd stop right before Season 4 ^o)
Seasons 1-3 were in my opinion the weakest (although still wonderful)
Seasons 4-7 were my favorites- I was so looking forward to those releases. Whatever Buena Vista, I hope you get hit by a bus. |

Bah, I like owning things. Anyway I don't think Season 4 will ever make it to DVD, in a recent interview a Buena Vista representative stated that Season 3 sold very poorly and any future releases don't seem likely. |

I heard all future DVD sales were sadly confirmed to be canceled. I guess we'll just have to enjoy the Disney and ABC Family reruns while they last. And Seasons 4-7 had most of the best episodes! |

I think we should all stand outside of stores and force people to buy the old seasons so that they'll put the rest out. |

From tvshowsondvd.com:
Season 4 A Possibility
| Quote: | I know there are tons of Boy Meets World fans out there, so this is the news they've been waiting to hear - there's hope for the show on DVD.
I met with someone in charge of licensing TV shows for ABC during a recent trip to LA, and he said that he's trying to find a home for Boy Meets World. This means the current licensing deal with Buena Vista Home Entertainment, the company that released seasons 1-3, is ending soon, and there's an opportunity for a new distributor to step in and release the show. A new distributor would license the entire series, including seasons 1-3 which have already been released. |
So there may be hope yet... |
