Cheryl and Meryl are twin toucans. They are Brandy's friends, but Brandy admitted in her diary that their fights annoy her. Nine out of ten times we see Cheryl and Meryl, their simple comments cause them to break into violent squabbles. Whether it's about opposite opinions, or simply whether "stupid" and "dumb" mean the same thing or not, the birds always find a reason to argue. Even though they can't seem to stand each other, Cheryl is never seen without Meryl, and vice versa.

Ed the Otter is Mr. Whiskers other best friend. He is perhaps the only creature in the Amazon who can tolerate Mr. Whiskers' antics for more than a minute, let along take part in them. While his tone of voice and personality makes him seem dull, he is often an encyclopedia for the jungle denizens. He has a rather large vocabulary, but this just lets him ramble on whenever he talks, taking a very long time until he gets to the point. He always refers to his friends with titles, such as "Miss Brandy". He is the only always-mutual friend Whiskers has, as Brandy tends to yell at him more than often.

Lola Boa is a boa constrictor. She is one of Brandy's two best friends - the other being the necessary friendship with Mr. Whiskers. Lola Boa speaks with an accent, and has spoken Spanish. She sings when she is alone, and her singing voice is amazing to Mr. Whiskers. She is always sensitive about not having arms, which is her weak point when Whiskers feels like getting on her nerves. She was the first person Brandy and Whiskers met after they fell from the plane, and ever since she's offered to help them.
