Series 4, Semi Final - 1 (Result) - Recap

Result time! Britain’s Got Talent had a great show that featured: ThreeBee, Olivia Archbold, Kevin Cruise, Stevie Star, Tobias Mead, Sean Sheehan, Josh Barry, and Spellbound. But now the results are in and they are going to find out whether or not it was all good enough to impress the world. They go to the judges first to get their opinion of the matter and Amanda says that she has a good idea who has a good chance to get though and Pierce was really impressed with Kevin Cruise. Simon says that 60% of the show was good and we all know that he was not at all impressed with the kindling chopper at all.

Diversity, last year’s winners of Britain’s Got Talent, make an appearance on stage and they are perfect in their moves and show that they are worthy of the title they have. With amazing choreography, the dancers of Diversity danced with perfect unison. The best part of the dance was when they form a plane and the little guy is on top miming “Come fly with me”. This group has what it takes and shows that they have what it takes to be the proud owners of such the title to perform for the Royal Variety Show. After the performance, they talk about their success that Britain’s Got Talent gave them. Simon says that they went up a knotch in talent even after performing on the stage last year.

Back to the results of the show and like always they have to draw it out. Threebee tells that they would like to show that Bollywood is here and it is staying for good. Olivia Archbold says that this is one step closer to her dream and that she needs to get into the next round to further her goals. Kevin Cruise says that he is doing the stuff that he needs to be doing and that it is a fun experience. Stevie Starr says that it would be amazing and as a kid he has always wanted to perform. Tobias wants to prove the people wrong who have told him that dancing is a joke. Sean Sheeham wants to prove that his act needs to be in the Royal Variety Show. Josh Barry says that his family’s life can be changed, and Spellbound show that they sacrifice a lot already and that it would be a dream come true.

Finally the results are calculated and the performers enter. After introductions only two acts will be going through. Of course, Spelbound wins the popular vote from the viewers. We all saw that coming with the reaction of the audience and judges. They exit off the stage and the judges have the choice for the second pick. The two acts up for the vote are Tobias Mead and Olivia Archbold based on the public votes. The rest of the performers are going home and will have to try again some other time. Pierce compliments both performers and picks Tobias. Amanda tells Olivia that her voice was amazing but it is Tobias who gets her vote. Simon says that he would have picked Tobias. Olivia doesn’t go through but says that it was an amazing experience and Tobias moves on to the Finals on Saturday Night. With Tobias Mead and Spelbound being the first acts through to the finals, it is going to be a great performance in the finals for sure! On to tomorrow night to see who will be the next two to go through to the finals!
