Week 3 of auditions is underway and tonight they start in London. The hopefuls are excited to try to prove that they’ve got talent to be able to make it into the Royal Variety Show. The judges arrive and Louis Walsh is filling in for David Hasselhoff this week due to a prior engagement that David had.

First up for auditions are Olivia Binfield, a 7-year-old with a love of poems. She comes out and says that she is going to read a poem. She runs back offstage and then comes back with a boa constrictor around her neck named Lucy. She says her poem and Amanda says it was brilliant. Michael asks if she can breathe and says that it was great. Louis says that she has a passion for animals and says that it was good. She gets through to the next round.

“TKD Remix” performs next and they are a martial arts group with a twist. They come out and start breaking boards to the song from Mortal Kombat and then switch to Bollywood song and start dancing. Michael says they were all over the place. Louis says that he enjoyed it. Amanda says that it was like a massive rush. Louis says yes, Michael says no, and Amanda says yes. They get through to the next round to be able to show off more of what they have.

Anthony Wait is next and he is a painter. He comes out on stage and says that he is going to paint a picture. However, he starts to prance around the stage and begins to take off layers of underwear and using them to slap paint on a piece of paper. He continues this until he shows his bear butt and Amanda finally ends his routine. Amanda says that it was appauling and not good at all. Louis says that he doesn’t get it at all.

This sets off a bunch of acts where Louis is not getting the point of the act that include a finger-snapping and strange dancing. However, when a dance group dressed as “Edward Scissorhands” comes out and does a bizarre dance routine, Louis gets it and says that it was entertaining, but the other judges don’t get it and they don’t get through.

Next to perform is Herbie Armstrong, a 66-year-old musician who wants to perform a song he wrote. He gets on stage and 20 seconds in the song, Amanda stops him and tells him to play a song that they would know. He sings a song that people recognize and is alright. Louis says that he has a great voice and good tone. Amanda says that he did a great job and can feel the passion. Michael says that he likes his style and song. They all say yes to him and send him through to the next round.

Tracey Moran is next up and she is going to be doing some dancing. She comes out and starts dancing to the “Grease” theme song and keeps pulling up her pants as she does mediocre dancing. However, the audience loves it and so do the judges. Michael says that he loved the way she kept pulling up her pants and how it took her a long time to get back up. Amanda says that it was entertaining and Louis agrees. Tracey gets through to the next round.

Next up is “Out of the Blue”, an acapella group from Oxford. They come out and sing a Lady Gaga medley and it is really entertaining. Michael says that it was enjoyable. Amanda says that it was a triumph. Louis says that it was great. The group gets all the judges to say yes to them and they get through to the next round to show what they can do next.

The last to perform is 12-year-old Ronan Parke, a singer. He comes out after a teen dance group gets rejected and sings “I’m Feeling Good” and it is amazing that he can sing the song. Michael says that he doesn’t need to go back to school because this is what he needs to be doing. Louis says that it was fantastic. Amanda says that it was amazing and the judges all give him a yes and send him through to the next round crying tears of joy. Louis says that he is the one to beat. The auditions end and the judges leave to move on to the next city.
