Series 5, Semi Final - 1 - Recap

It is the Live Semi-Final and semi-finalists Girls Roc, Donelda Guy, Stuart Arnold, Paul Gbegbaje, Brunce Sistaz, Ted & Grace, Joe Oakley, and Ronan Parke are performing for the public vote. The judges come out dressed in their best and then Ant and Dec tell that Simon Cowell is back to be part of the judging panel during this time.

First up is “Girls Roc”. They are excited that they got through and want to put on a show. They come out on stage and do their fire act in their skimpy outfits. David says that the first time they were hot and tonight they were sizzling. Michael says that there was a lot of fire, but they looked amazing and he enjoyed it. Amanda says that it was excellent. Simon says that it was fantastic. He asks them if they do home shows and says the dancing was just alright, but who cares. They tell that it is unbelievable that Michael liked and all the other judges.

Next up is Donelda Guy and her dogs Megastar and Beaver. She comes out with them and does a great job commanding them around the stage with ease. Afterward, David says that she was amazing and the dogs dance better than him. Michael says that he loved it. Amanda says that she loved that she made a grand entrance. Simon says that they were dancing and the girls did great. Donelda says that she is having fun and it was a lot of fun to perform.

Up next is Stuart Arnold the impersonator and karaoke singer. He comes out and has a bigger production. Afterward, David says that he tried to terminate him from before, but says he came back. However, he says that Stuart is not going to be making it through and says that he doesn’t want to show him to the Queen. Michael says that he was great. Amanda says that she loved the act as well. Simon doesn’t get the act and asks what if he is serious. He says that he doesn’t like it. Stuart says that he had fun and hopes that the public loved it.

Next is Paul Gbegbaje. He says that the joy of being in the Semi-Finals is an amazing feeling. He comes out and plays a medley of popular hits and is great on the piano. Afterward, David says that he really impressed him and says that he played with emotion. Michael says that he agrees with David and says that it was magnificent. Amanda says that it was great and he connected with the audience. Simon says that he says that he shouldn’t have done so many songs, but says that he is very talented and likable.

Next up to perform is Bruce Sistaz. They tell that they can’t believe that they made it through and they tell how hard they train. They come out on stage and they show their perfect balance. They are really good. They get a standing ovation. David says that he needs a couple of body guards and tells them that they were awesome. Michael says that he liked the audition, but this was even better. Amanda says that she really enjoyed it too. Simon says that was a really good act. They tell that they loved it as well.

Ted & Grace are next. They tell that they are happy to be there and hope they can show their talent. They get on the stage and it is all over the place. Afterward, David says that Ted did a great job and says that he would like to see more Ted rather than Grace. Michael says that he thought that it was great and loves the way Ted always looks as though he is lost. Amanda says that it was a glee mashup and says that it was great. Simon says that it was a bit all over the place. He says that he agrees with David and says that there should be more Ted and less Grace. However, Grace fights back and says that they are a duo not a single act.

Joe Oakley is next and he says that he wasn’t sure that if he was going to get through when he auditioned. He comes out and nails every jump with ease. Afterward, David says that he was more exciting and more dangerous. Michael says that it was amazing and he doesn’t worry about it. Amanda says that he topped himself and he liked it and he has blown her away. Simon says that it was very great and says that it is his favorite act so far and says that he normally doesn’t like these types of acts.

Last up for the night is Ronan Parke. He comes out and sings “To Make You Feel My Love”. David says that he came out and it was great. Michael says that he sang it beautifully and he is a natural singer. Amanda says that it was effortless and says that he has a perfect voice. Simon says that he totally utterly nailed that. Ant and Dec asks him if he has been recognized more and he says that people want to take his picture. The lines are now open and it is up to the public who is going to get through.
