I was a bit wary after readong some very critical comments on imdb, but actually in the end - I thought the show had some serious potential, so I'll definitely be following along for a few episodes to see how things turn out.

I like how they've chosen to keep a lot of things hidden. For example we're still unsure what really happened with Michael before his dissaperance and what he's actually been going while he's been gone.

The only thing annoying me a little is that I had a hard time figuring out who's on who's side, and who's against each other among the Irish community, but I suppose it's always hard in the beginning of a series - hopefully I'll be able to figure it out in the coming episodes.

i dug it . i thought it was a good pilot. i too had trouble at first figuring who was on who's side, but that's normal for a new show. it all came together in the end. i also like the little conflicts already setting up. like michael and freddi and tommy's wife cheeting on him.

i loved that this is on showtime. i really enjoy watching tv with no commercials. so it has that going for it and that has a lot of pull with me. i'm a big jason isaacs fan and i'm glad he's the "evil" brother. he plays a much better villain. and it's nice to see ethan embry in this as well. i really liked him in the first season of dragnet when he played a cop there. i think he's really underrated.

i'll definitely be tuning in to see where this goes.

Another upside of Showtime is foul language and nudity, always makes the show feel more realistic to me - like HBO :}
