Set in Philadelphia, the city of Brotherly Love, the show brings together the real life Lawrence siblings, Joey, Matthew and Andrew. When his parents divorced, Joe Roman spent his childhood on the move with his mother while his race car driver father remarried and went on to have two more children.

When his father dies, Joe returns to Philadelphia to collect his share of his father’s estate and somehow ends up moving in, helping to run the family’s garage business and becoming a father figure to his two younger stepbrothers.
