Sarah Whedon, played by Rachel Griffiths
Sarah Whedon is the first of five children of Nora and William Walker. She is wife to Joe Whedon, mother to Paige and Cooper Whedon, and stepmother to Gabriel Whedon, her husband's son from his first marriage. She was formerly a high-powered businesswoman in the corporate world, but started working at the family's company, Ojai Foods, to be able to spend more time with her family. After her father died, she was named president of the company. She and her husband Joe have had problems in their marriage recently, which were exacerbated by a kiss he shared with her half-sister, Rebecca. |
