Basically, this is where you voice your opinions on certain stuff. This could be where you compare 2 characters(It could be a character from off of Angel, or you could just use characters from the show), and see which one is the strongest. Anything that is debatable, basically.

I want to start off with Willow. Did she turn into a goddess on the finale, or did her magic just turn/evolve into light? My opinion: she turned into a goddess. At first I thought she turned into a guardian - someone who watches over the Watchers - but her magic changed my opinion. Willow was abe to literally feel everyone who changed into a slayer. And before that, she was able to sense evil. Maybe she could be known as the Goddess of Slayers. :} What about you all?

good question. i have a tough time thinking that she, for the lack of a better term, evolved into a goddess. i like to think that she, again for the lack of a better term, leveled up if you will, as it pertains to being a witch. it is quite intersting to see how this could have played out on tv.

I feel that she did turn into a Goddess. Amy said in S7 that Willow is so powerful that she put all other Witches to shame (paraphrased) and Willow said that she can sense everything in the world (again paraphrased). Even before she unleashed the true potential of her magick she was the only one who could hurt another Goddess - which also shows that she has the potential to be a Goddess inside her.
She also turned White, showing that it wasn't just a normal spell but now she has changed into her true potential and is now a Goddess.
I like your idea about her being the Goddess of Slayers, which i feel could be true as the Slayers are the reason that she transitioned into a Goddess and possibly gave her that extra push of power to change herself into a Goddess.
I doubt she is a guardian, because from what the guardian was saying, Guardians have been around for eternity and there would be no way to create a new guardian.
If, which I seriously doubt, a Willow spin-off is made, this should definitely be a factor in the show and should be addressed; like how she deals with being a Goddess and how this changes her relationships with others.

I think she was always one, she just wasn't ready. She had to grow and stuff.

Good point, that might be why D'Hoffryn wanted her to work for him, because he could sense she was a Goddess.

Thanks for all of your inputs. You all make an excellent point. I'd of also been interested in seeing how this would of played out on TV. Willow has always been an interesting character; if she was to get her own show, I'd definitely watch to see how her powers are.

Another excellent point. Willow actually battled 2 gods - Glory and Jasmine. I forgot all about Jasmine, until now. Willow battled her with magic, and won. That definitely shows how unbelievably powerful she is. As of my opinion, I think Willow did turn into a goddess - or as Andrew said - she was always a goddess.

While on the subject of goddesses. Who do y'all think would win between Jasmine and Glory - at full power. Which means no Ben with Glory. I'd say Jasmine would win. Jasmine is talented at witch craft, which seems to be able to faze Glory. All she would have to do in brain drain Glory or something.

Without Ben, Glory is invincible though. So it is tough, because from what it seems Jasmine is more powerful, but Glory is powerful but would also be invincible.
Unless Jasmine is invincible too, then she would win.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Jasmine has more power technically, but Glory is invincible.. and like already stated, if it weren't for Ben, she wouldn't have ever even died.

Jasmine could be considered invincible, too. I mean, the only 2 people that can kill her is Connor or Cordelia. She could easily kill Cordy, and she could mind control other people to kill Connor. Unless if they die she dies, too? Anyway, that's why I picked Jasmine.

Hmm... I don't know. I mean, Giles knowledge is clearly more superior than Xanders, but I think Xander is better at combat than Giles. I'd say... Giles. "Knowledge is power". All Giles would have to do is cast some kind of spell on Xander.

Yall are actually debating about people on the same side fighting each other?

Normally in these debates I see the whole love triangle and who was the best villian of the season arguments.
