Breach of Faith - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Michael Westen is back in action and this time Fiona and Jesse are in the Bahamas following the lead that Jesse told about in the last episode and Fiona tells Michael that she and Jesse are on the case and that Ty, the coroner’s assistant, is about to “lend her” his keys. As Ty gives Fiona a drink, Jesse comes up and speaks in a Jamaican accent telling Fiona to go with him. Ty intervenes and Jesse puts him on the table. Fiona takes the keys from Ty’s pocket. At the coroner, Jesse is inside looking for a file. He gets the right one and Ty is coming back. Jesse hides in one of the freezers for the bodies. Ty enters the room and sees that his keys are on the table and leaves. Jesse exits and goes to the car that Fiona left for him. Ty recognizes Jesse and the police chase after Jesse in the car. Jesse drives to the dock where Fiona has a boat waiting. Jesse jumps in and they evade the police.

Back home, Fiona and Jesse brag to Michael about their trip and have done all the footwork for Michael and tell that the body in the autopsy report belonged to a Jeremiah Kazar. Sam wants Michael to do him a favor by going with him to friends of his Lila and Josh. They got themselves wrapped up in a scam and Sam wants Michael to hear out the case and give help. They arrive at Josh and Lila’s house but Josh is not there. He went to talk to Nick Madison. He wants to make sure that Madison gives back the money back. Meanwhile at the post office, Jesse and Fiona are posing as a soon to be married couple and need Jeremiah Kazar’s address to settle a problem they have. But the lady doesn’t buy it. Jesse makes the observation that the lady is not married and has two kids. He changes tactics and tells that Jeremiah Kazar is not a lawyer; he is a scumbag that is 2 years behind on his child support. They start to leave and the lady changes her opinion and asks how to spell the last name.

Sam and Michael are at Blue Crest and Josh is there holding a gun at Nick Madison, the guy Josh thinks stole all of his money. Nick is telling that he didn’t but Josh hits Nick in the forehead with the gun. The police pull up and plans change. Josh locks Nick in the break room and Sam closes the blinds so the police can’t see in and locks the doors. He is going to help Josh get the money back. Outside, the police force is mounting and the phone rings inside the building. Lt. Casey of the police department tells over a megaphone for the people in the building to pick up the phone. Michael picks up the phone and pretends to be a hostage and keeps the conversation short. They have to interview Nick and Patty separately and Michael enters the room where Nick is. Nick admits that money was moved around when the economy crashed and that he lost Josh’s money.

Sam meets with Patty and she is certain that Nick did not steal any money. Sam doesn’t believe her and tells that Josh’s charity is going to be shut down and people are going to be homeless. She tells that Nick had to lay off his staff and has been struggling as well. Sam yells and tells that they took the money but she remains strong. Michael and Sam are reviewing the transactions to Nick’s accounts but nothing illegal is going on. Josh is worried that it is all for nothing and Sam remembers that Patty mentioned a Tom Norris. He is Nick’s right hand man. Michael gets an unsecured phone line and contacts Fiona. Meanwhile, Fiona and Jesse are at Jeremiah’s home trying to pick the lock. A nosy neighbor comes up and wants to know what they are doing. They tell that they are from the Census Bureau and that they were trying to get in contact. The lady asks for ID’s and they tell that they left them in their car. The nosy neighbor wrote down the license plate. Fiona’s phone rings and they say that they have to go. It is Michael and he tells of his current situation.

Nick is in his office and tells that he wants to show Josh about their current situation. But as he opens a drawer, Nick tries to pull a gun out. Michael takes it away from him and Nick tells that all of them are going to jail. Sam and Michael are sitting down contemplating the jail time. But Michael has a plan. He picks up the phone and talks to Lt. Casey. But upon talking to him, he knows that Michael is there. Meanwhile, Fiona and Jesse see a smug looking Tom Norris. Jesse goes up to him. He runs. Jesse and Fiona catch up to him and tell that they want their cut of the money. But Tom is only the accountant and tells that Nick has all the money in a floor safe in the conference room. Fiona locks Tom in the trunk of the Mustang and tells Michael about the safe. Michael and Sam find the safe and attempt to get the combination from Nick. He of course refuses and Michael and Sam use a toaster oven and bullets to open the floor safe. They pull it out and they drop it. There is more then a million dollars and Nick and Patty enter. Patty is upset that Nick lied to her and slaps him. He slaps her and then throws a brick through the window.

Outside the SWAT team is in position and Michael doesn’t have a plan. With the police in position, Michael has the plan to make Nick come out as the hostage taker. They talk to Patty and she agrees that Nick is a liar, but it is them who need to go to jail. Josh admits that he put a gun to them and he is sorry. Michael takes Nick to the front and puts him on his knees. Michael tells that he doesn’t need Nick anymore and points the gun to his head. He is distracted on purpose and Nick takes the gun. Now Nick has the gun and the SWAT is right out the door. Michael makes Nick shoot at him but it was never loaded. SWAT team enters and sees Nick with the gun. Lt. Casey interviews Patty about what happened and she decided to go with the good side and tells that Nick had the gun and held them hostage. The team gets out without a scratch and Sam tells Josh and Lila to call Barry to handle the finances.

Michael is opening the door to Jeremiah’s home and the nosy neighbor is jogging. Michael gets in and the place is cleaned spotless. Michael talks with Kendra the nosy neighbor and uses the FBI badge that Sam gave him. She tells that no suspicious activity has happened. Outside Michael says that he is missing something. Jesse compliments her body and Michael thinks that she killed Jeremiah Kazar and is now house-sitting. They enter and see Kendra stuffing something in the drywall. She runs away and Jesse is too slow. But Michael pulls out something that she was trying to leave behind. It is a high density tape cartridge. The case is just getting started.
