Dead or Alive - Recap

The scene opens with Michael looking at the list and Jesse asks if he has changed his mind and Michael tells that he will give it to the government and Jesse tells that he already called Marv. Michael tells that he wants to meet with Marv in person and Jesse tells that it is a bad idea, but Michael still wants to do it. Michael sits down at the poolside with Marv and he tells that he doesn’t trust Michael. Marv suggests that Michael agree to a polygraph test and then he will be able to see that Michael is a good guy and not a bad one. Michael agrees to the polygraph. In a hotel room, Michael is strapped to a polygraph and states his name and tells that he is a former spy.

At Madeline’s Jessie gets the list from a wall and Madeline walks in. Jesse tells that he is going to get the list to give to Marv so that they can get back in. However, this is the first time Madeline has heard this and tells them to be careful even though it is clear that she is not happy with it. At a Café, Sam brings notes for Michael about the time that he got burned and tells that he needs to help out a cop friend. The friend is Det. Kevin Barashell and Michael tells that the guy is dirty because he fleeted the country. Sam tells him not to believe everything he reads. Sam arrives at Kevin’s house and his wife, Claire, and Pete, Kevin’s partner, are there and they tell that they don’t know what is going on. Pete tells that the police think that he was the one that was working with the drug dealers and they tell that they found drugs in his car. Sam tells the team that Kevin called a number and it belongs to Ted Sayers. They agree to help out. They go to the house of Ted Sayers and when they mention Kevin’s name, he runs. Jesse takes him down with a taser gun.

They take him to a dark storage unit and interrogate him. He tells that he killed Kevin because Pete told him to so that he can be cut into the sell of the cocaine. Sam starts to push Ted and Michael takes Sam out of the storage unit and they need to call the police. Fiona tells that it is not a good idea and Sam tells that they are going to crack open the case again. Sam tells Claire that Kevin is dead and she collapses in sobs. Sam is upset. The next morning, Michael tells that they are going to bait Pete to bring out the drugs. They go back to Ted and tell that he is going to tell Pete to make the deal and Ted asks what’s in it for him and they tell that he is going to prison instead of dying in the storage unit. Sam goes to Claire and Pete is there too. They lie and tell him that they have no new developments. Michael is meeting with Marv again and Fiona tells that she tells that she hates the idea of Michael working for the government again and she tells that she wants him to have a choice and tells that she still doesn’t want to him to do it. Michael tells that he told everything and Marv brings up Sam and Fiona. Michael tells that if he wants the list, they need to move it quick. Marv tells him to bring the list and he will

At the house, Sam is making Napalm and tells that they need to make a splash. Later that night, Michael meets with Pete and Michael tells that he killed Ted and Pete is a little worried and tells that the deal is off. Michael throws a lighter and sets off the Napalm and makes a ring of fire. Pete agrees to the deal. The next day, Michael tells Sam that Pete keeps changing the place of the meeting and Michael tells that they are going to have to resurrect Kevin and tells that it is their only option. Jesse and Sam visit Claire and tell that they are going to have to bring Kevin back and tell that she needs to play along. She agrees and tells that they can meet on the boat of his uncle’s. Later Pete arrives at the boat and Sam tells that they just missed Kevin and tells that Kevin called him and the fact that he is talking to Internal Affairs. Pete gets paranoid and wants to know where Kevin is and Sam tells that he doesn’t know anything. Meanwhile, Fiona goes to Madeline and she tells that she knows that Michael and Jesse are trying to get back in. Fiona tells that she will kill Michael herself if he does. Meanwhile Pete goes to Claire’s and Jesse and Fiona are staking out the place. They walk up to Pete and scare him into calling Michael pretending to be Internal Affairs. The deal is on.

Michael tells that they are going to be meeting on Kevin’s boat and make the deal. However, when they get the site, Pete is hiding in the bushes and has a detonator. Michael gets out of there fast and when Fiona thinks that Michael is dead, he comes out of the water. Michael calls Jesse and tells him to block the interstate. Michael tells that they are going to make Pete plant the drugs at Kevin’s house and for Sam to get the cops there. Jesse does as planned and Michael walks up to Pete’s car and tells that they are going for a drive. Michael takes Pete to a dumpster and tells that he is going to kill him. Pete tells that they can plant the drugs at Kevin’s house and frame him. Michael tells that he agrees. Meanwhile, Sam talks with the Lieutenant at Pete’s station and the Lieutenant isn’t buying it. Sam pulls a gun on him and tells that he can crucify him if he is wrong. He agrees to go with him. Later that night, they are going to make the switch and Pete starts to have second thoughts. Michael gets him back on track and Pete goes inside and starts putting the cocaine into the vent and is arrested. Sam punches Pete in the face and calls him a sleazebag.

At the funeral, Sam tells that he is sorry and Claire tells that she is happy to have Kevin’s name cleared. The Lieutenant congratulates Sam and tells that Kevin was a good officer. Michael offers to buy Sam a drink. Michael walks into Madeline’s and apologizes for not telling her about the fact that he might be going back to the government. She accepts his apology. Jesse comes in and tells that Marv has a homeland security team with him and Madeline wishes them luck. At the drop off, Marv tells that it is all taken care of and Jesse asks who he is taking it too. However, Michael sees that the “Homeland Security” have silencers. They shoot Marv and get into the car. As they drive off, Michael sees Tyler Brennen, part time spy and full-time sociopath in the car with the men. Michael tells that he knows the man and he is their worst nightmare.
