Army of One - Recap

The scene opens with Michael and Sam at the warehouse that Lucien told them about. Michael sees that the guy is in there and that they need to strike now. They use magnetic speakers and tape to disable the security system and go inside. However, Sam steps on a plate that sets off a silent alarm. They hear a noise and go in the room. They find the place torched and they see the man in the fire. Michael tries to get to him, but he is too late and the guy gets away in his truck. Michael and Sam get to Fiona and she asks why they didn’t call her. Michael tells that he needs to get to the warehouse again because Pearce somehow found out about the fire. Sam looks at the computer that they pulled from the fire and he says that he has a guy that will be able to get the data from it. Michael tells that Fiona should hang low. Sam tells that Michael can go to the security detail that Jesse wanted him to do and he and Fiona can go to his guy and try to fix the computer. Michael gets to the warehouse and Pearce says that they are close, but she needs all of Michael’s files. He agrees to get them to her by tomorrow.

Later, Michael meets with Jesse and he says that they are providing corporate security for Richard Gronbach, an owner of many businesses and there have been a lot of bad threats. He says that he is flying into the airport. He mentions that he had Madeline take surveillance photos and Michael asks if it is safe. Jesse says that it is. Meanwhile, Sam meets with Dixon, a “friend” who doesn’t want anything to do with Sam after he tased him and put him in the trunk of a car. Sam says that he said that he was sorry about that. Fiona comes up behind Dixon and asks if he is going to cooperate with them. He says that he isn’t and she tases him. At the airport, Madeline asks what they are doing and Jesse says that they are going to be in and out. The corporate guys arrive and Michael walks up and asks what they are going to do. Holcomb, the guy in charge, tells that it is going to be easy. However, when Michael gets there, Holcomb and his assistant, Ward, pull out machine guns. Holcomb tells Michael the real plan. Michael tries to get a gun, but they refuse.

They enter and take the employees hostage. Madeline gets captured too. Michael stops a security officer from being a hero. Holcomb tells the hostages that they are going to be alright as long as no one tries anything and says that they are going to convince Gronbach to give up his bank codes. If they try anything, he will set off a grenade and they all die. They lead the hostages to a room and Michael suggests that they take roll. Ward and the other assistants tell Holcomb that they searched everywhere. Michael convinces Holcomb to let him do it. Michael gets the names of everyone and makes up the name, Jack Marsden. He goes out and tells that they are missing Marsden and Ward says that can’t be right. Ward doesn’t believe Michael’s theories, but Holcomb does and has Michael take Landis, another assistant, with him. They get to the hanger and Michael tells Landis to check the area. Michael calls Jesse and says that the thieves are going to drain Gronbach’s accounts. He asks him to cut a hole in the fence for him and says that he is working on the rest. Michael makes a time release make-shift bomb and puts it in a box. He goes out to Landis and puts it in the SUV.

Fiona and Sam drive to Dixon’s lab and Sam asks if things are alright with Michael and her. She tells that Michael is not with her in this new relationship boost. Suddenly police officers are right behind them and Fiona loses them. Michael and Landis get back to Holcomb and they tell that they just missed him. They start to question Michael’s theory when the bomb goes off in the SUV. They go outside and Michael uses the make shift gun and shoots one of the assistants in the arm. Michael calls Jesse, who is in the middle of cutting a hole in the fence, and says that they are going to have to redirect airport traffic for Gronbach’s jet. Michael gets into where Holcomb and his team are and says that Marsden is an explosives expert and was in Special Forces. He tells that they need to go to the hanger because that is where he would be hiding. Holcomb says that Landis is going to stay with Michael to do the “dirty work” if needs be. Jesse goes to the control tower and pretends to be a FBI agent. He tells them to redirect the airplane and after threatening them with the head of the FBI and the President, they redirect it.

Fiona and Sam get to the lab and Fiona realizes that the reason the cops were after them was because Dixon is under house arrest. He says that he was hiding money for some Developers and that it was a misunderstanding. They make a device that is going to unblock the signal and leave them in the dark. Back at the airport, one of the hostages begins to lose it and Madeline tells that they need to stay calm. Michael tells her that she has to create a scene. This distracts Landis and Michael knocks him out. They ask for tranquilizers from one of the hostages and say that she looks the type. She pulls out her pills and Madeline puts the powder in Landis’s mouth. Michael tells them that he is a good guy and that Madeline is his mother. They want to get to the hole in the fence, but Holcomb and his men have arrived at the hanger. Michael decides to have the hostages hide in a hanger and makes a distraction by blowing up one of the propeller planes. Michael goes back to the office and smashes the place up. Michael cuts himself to make it look like he got ambushed.

Holcomb and Ward get there and ask why Michael is left alive. He fells that Michael is working for Marsden and takes him outside. Michael tries to convince Holcomb that he is legit when he tells that he will kill the hostages for him. Holcomb tells that Ward is going to go with him and if he doesn’t come through, he is to put two bullets in Michael. Back at the lab, Sam tells the place is surrounded and Fiona has the bracelet go live again. The police officers chase toward the signal. Inside the warehouse, one of the hostages asks if they should just give up. Madeline says that they are going to be safe. They see Michael and Ward come out and Michael has a gun. Madeline makes the hostages go to the back. Ward overhears that one of the hostages ask loudly why Michael has a gun. Ward tells Michael to drop the gun and they fight. Madeline comes up from behind and knocks Ward unconscious. Michael wipes blood on his shirt and stumbles over to Holcomb. He says that he was shot and that he is a dead man. He offers to have the grenade and says that he will set it off. They leave and Michael blocks the blast, but to Holcomb and his assistant, they see a big blast.

Holcomb and his assistant drive to the Sea Oak Motel and there they are met by Michael, Jesse and the SWAT team. They are arrested and can’t believe that they were caught in this. Jesse realizes that Jesse is going to have to do a lot more for Michael and Madeline because of the bad Intel that he had on the mission. Later, Fiona gives Michael what they recovered from the hard drive and says that they have a name to the killer. His name is Tavien Kortisa and he was financed by someone local. Pearce is waiting for the files and Fiona warns him. He says that he has to. Michael gets to Pearce and says that they are one step closer to catching Michael’s killer. Michael remembers when he burned the gun. Pearce says that she needs one last piece to finding Max’s killer. She looks in the box and says that it might be in the box too. The episode ends.
