Breaking Point - Recap

The scene opens with Michael looking at his new CIA badge. Fiona tells him that she doesn’t want him to do what Anson wants him to do. She says that she wants him to meet with Anson and she say that she is going to plant a tracker on the car that Anson drives. Later, Michael meets with Anson and Fiona goes off to plant the tracker. Michael takes Anson away from his car and Anson asks why he hasn’t erased him from the CIA files yet. He tells him that he has until Friday. Fiona goes off to follow Anson and crawls under a Semi-Truck to get a tracker onto Anson’s car. She manages to do it and gets out from underneath the Semi. At the loft, Michael and Jesse track Anson and Madeline comes in. She tells Michael that Andre has been shot and killed. Michael says that Andre was his best friend since childhood. Michael asks about Ricky and she says that he was wondering if Michael would want to come by. He agrees.

Michael and Madeline get to Ricky’s and they talk about Andre. Ricky says that Andre turned his life around and wanted to make his little girls proud. He says that the cops don’t care who killed Andre and Madeline says that Andre had a good heart. Andre takes Michael outside and shows him a burner phone that he found in Andre’s car. Mike says that he can trace the call and says that he will help him out. Meanwhile, Sam and Fiona follow the tracker and realize that he stopped. Fiona floors it and they see Anson walking to a building. Fiona says that they need to get a better vantage point. She speeds through a parking garage and manage to get a view of Anson going into an apartment complex. Michael and Ricky meet with Jesse and he says that the call was traced to a white house. Jesse gives Michael clothing and Ricky asks why he isn’t going in. Michael says that he could be known and that it is best he stays in the car. He agrees. Jesse goes up to the house and they shoot at the door. Jesse goes in and forces the shooter to go out back. Michael catches the shooter and finds out that it is, Dolly, a friend of Andre’s. She says that she didn’t kill Andre.

Michael takes Dolly and Ricky and Michael tell her that they will turn her in. Dolly says that it was Dion Carver, a gangster for the Oakland Overlords. She says that Dion and her see each other sometimes and she says that Dion killed and robbed the leader of the gang. Michael says that they are going to take down Dion. They get to the loft and Jesse says that he can’t believe that Michael stashed Dolly at Madeline’s house. He says that they are going to sell guns to Dion and get him to come out with the money. Jesse says that he is going to do the sit down with Dion with Ricky first because Michael is too close to the situation. They go in and Dion listens to Jesse’s proposal to supply him and his gang with an arsenal that will give him respect on the street. He says that Jesse better not be messing with him because he will take it out on them. Meanwhile, Fiona and Sam run surveillance on Anson and realize that they are going to have to find out a way to get to know where Anson lives exactly.

Sam goes to a University and talks to the Students for the Environment. He tells them that they are going to file a lawsuit on the same apartments as Anson lives in. One of the students asks how much they are getting paid for this and Sam says that he is going to love only when they environment is going to be safe. Jesse gets into the Loft and says that the deal is going down soon and Michael says that he is going to be the dealer. Fiona says that they can’t get that many guns and says that she has a guy who has that much and says that they are going to hold the meeting and then leave. Jesse doesn’t like the idea, but they have no other choice. Later, they get the deal going and Sam and Fiona look out for visitors. Dion asks Michael why the sudden sell and he says that he has to pay back certain people. A truck comes up and Fiona tear gases the man inside and gets him out. Dion asks what is going on and Michael plays it off as another target to shoot. After shooting it with a launcher, Dion says that they have a deal.

Michael tells Ricky that they are going to have to talk to Dion because he said that he has to have a few days to get the money together. They go to Dion’s and tell him that they have other buyers who are interested. Dion gets word that one guys spotted Dolly and she is about to take a “fade”. Ricky and Fiona are listening in and says that means that she is about to be killed. They find Dolly and she has been shot. She tells him that she is sorry and then dies. Later that evening, Michael tells Ricky that he is going to have to get out of town and says that they are going to fault on the deal. He tells Michael that he doesn’t want Dion to get away from murdering his brother. Michael says that he is going to find a different way to get Dion. He gets up and leaves. The next day, Fiona drops off the package to Ricky to give him the new identity. Sam calls and says that they narrowed the apartments down to 3 apartments. Ricky tells Fiona to tell Michael to stay away from Dion’s place. Fiona realizes that Ricky made a bomb.

They go to the meeting spot and Fiona asks where the bomb is. Michael says that this is not the way to take Dion down and says that they need to set off an explosion without hurting anyone. Dion calls and Michael has Fiona and Ricky find the bomb and to make the necessary changes. They get inside and manage to do so. Meanwhile, Michael and Jesse meet with Dion and the other players in the Overlords. He tells them that they are going to have a major play to take over against the other gangs. Michael gets a call and tells Dion that they have to talk outside. He takes Dion outside and tells him that his supplies are being watched by the CIA and that it is going to have to be a couple of days. He says that he can call a number if he doesn’t believe him. The call is made and it triggers the bomb. The explosion forces everyone outside. Jesse tells the other players that Dion set them up and that they need to take him out. They all agree.

Michael takes Dion around the corner and Ricky comes up and puts a gun to his face. He says that he can offer him money, but Ricky says that he wants his brother back. Michael says that he has a choice to make. Either he makes a deal with the police and to confess to Andre’s murder, or go to his gang and get killed. Later, Michael comes into Madeline’s and says that Dion is in solitary confinement for the rest of his life. Madeline says that when Michael, Andre and Ricky were all together, they were trouble makers. Michael and Ricky remember when Andre tore up the rose bush and Madeline says that he came back and planted a new one. She gives them roses and says that they are from Andre. Fiona and Sam break into Anson’s place while Michael meets with him. They find nothing but a satellite that Anson has been using. Sam says that they can get the information and intercept future messages. The episode ends with Michael using his pass to go in the CIA computers and erase Anson from the CIA database.
