Before Surrealism, before Abstractionism, there was DADA. In response to the horrors of World War I, some European artists decided that if the rules of civilization could produce the carnage in the trenches, then all rules should be challenged. DADA pushed the boundaries of art, flouting its very forms; championing spontaneity, absurdity, and free will. The art world would be the same. CBS News Correspondent Rita Braver visits the DADA exhibit which has traveled to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
