When a rising young starlet is killed in an early morning traffic accident, an injured stalker found at the scene claims it was intentional on his part. Further investigation uncovers evidence that the stalker is not as culpable as he claims, and that another murder, elsewhere, is related. When it results in an attempt to steal a body, the CSIs take the case personally.

Hodges also talks to Eckley to help Wendy make the switch from lab tech to fieldwork.
