When a group of bird watchers find a raven with an eyeball in its mouth, the CSIs are able to connect the eye to a divorced man and his two children. In another case, as David is about to begin his first autopsy, supervised by Dr. Robinson, the body startlingly turns out to be anything but dead. They successfully revive him, but he dies later of his injuries. Warrick and Grissom look into the man's reasons for being on the autopsy table in the first place.
