Grissom, Catherine and the CSI team investigate three separate cases: a couple is found dead in bed after a suspicious trailer explosion; a stripper is murdered and her body is dumped in the bad part of town; and two bodies are found decomposing in the trunk of a car, forcing the CSIs to “wrap up” the evidence and examine it at the lab.

Episode Quotes |

(After Greg gets spattered in the mouth with human remains)
Sara: Technically this makes you a cannibal. Grissom would be proud.
Greg: Grissom would have tasted it on purpose. | Catherine: Warrick, you know, the thing that makes a fantasy great is the possibility that it might come true. And when you lose that possibility it just, kinda, sucks. | Catherine: Whoa, Warrick, why do you have a ring on your finger?
Warrick: Because I'm married.
Vartann: Since when?
Warrick: Since yesterday.
Vartann: Congratulations. How much did you pay her? | Sara: (to Sofia) You're the detective, go detect. | Greg: That's not frosting ...
Sara: I always like the middle part the best. | Catherine: (to Warrick) Warrick, you know, the thing that makes a fantasy great is the possibility that it might come true. And when you lose that possibility it just, kinda, sucks. | Catherine: So, you get the team back together only to break us apart again. What kind of perverse game are you playing here, Gil?
Grissom: I'm not a pervert. |

Title: Bodies in Motion
In physics, the phrase "Bodies in Motion" ties to a concept, first described by Newton, called "inertia". It is the natural tendency of any mass, when in motion (hence, "Bodies in Motion") to remain moving at the same velocity (including "zero" velocity, hence the related term, "Bodies at Rest") unless acted upon by other forces. "Action/Reaction" is also a related idea. |

Nick panics when a bug lands on his arm. This is because in the final two episodes of season 5, he was buried alive in a glass coffin full of insects, and having the bug crawl on him reminded him of that experience. | Grissom and Archie were analysing the tape that was left in the coffin with Nick from the two episodes prior to this one. | Hodges: (to Grissom) You got a real thing for blue paint.
The serial killer in episode 6 of season 3, "The Execution of Catherine Willows" and episode 6 of season 5, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" had a specific blue paint that was used in the luring of his victims. |
