Title: Lab Rats
The phrase "lab rat" usually refers to the rats used in laboratories to experiment on. In particular, it may refer to rats trained to run through a maze to a goal. Hence, the term, in the latter sense, has come to be somewhat affectionately applied to people who do lab work, rather than field work, in solving a problem. What they do is important even if less visible. In this episode, the CSI's own "Lab Rats", work on their own to tackle the problem of the miniature killer with special encouragement from Hodges.
