Title: Leapin' Lizards
Leapin' Lizards! was an expression of surprise or amazement that became a cultural meme in the late 1920s and 1930s as a result of being used by the titular character in the exceedingly popular comic strip "Little Orphan Annie" (it was the Depression era version of "Jinkies!"). This ties to the concept of reptilian aliens used as the macguffin in this episode. |
