This episode, along with ep 5x12, "Snakes", centers on a uniquely Mexican cultural element. The world of the Luchador, aka "Lucha Libre", is an exceedingly popular form of semi-pro wrestling not unlike US professional wrestling, but generally much less glitzy and with less female sexuality thrown in. Aerial maneuvers are far more often used, and masks are crude but unique, and often reflect the animalistic, demonic or saintly archtypes associated with the wrestler's persona. Colors are bright and basic, making a specific wrestler easily identified.
