I think I'm giving up on this one. Will still be following Miami and New York, but Las Vegas is just too damn dull and depressing. There ain't no characters I'm intreged/interested by/in.
Just big fat blah.
Miami's got H , Procter and LaRue , big exposions and sunny beaches
New York has its large well lit lab , Ms Carter , and a strong male lead - whose name escapes me, and all that New York scenery.
Las Vegas - whole load of whatever
[edit] But as to this ep, well I gave up when they shifted to the 2nd crime scene and had a nap. |

This one was... competent.
There was little to note in it but the fact that they seem to be writing Archie out of it, they haven't had him in an ep in a long while despite at least two "where's Archie?" moments, and they didn't give him a "spotlight" ep at all last season.
They also appear to be building up Wendy for a CSI field spot, offhand. Since they're nominally short a CSI still -- they lost Grissim, Sara, and Warrick as of last season, and replaced them so far with Ray and... Sara, so they need one more person to fill out the regular cast and take Warrick's place.
It didn't strike me as overly interesting, just a kind of standard case.
As far as the characters, well, CSI Vegas has never been about the characters as much as the others.
And I believe the male lead you're looking for (assuming you're referring to the show's Grissim/Horatio) is one of the few Republicans in Hollywood (well, "New York"... lol) -- Gary Sinise
But I think you've spotted something missing lately from the show, and that's the Las Vegas feel of it. Not a lot of eps that really seemed like they took place in Vegas, as opposed to Atlanta, Seattle, or Denver.

Yup Mr Sinese was the name I'd forgotten.
With Vegas once you've seen one gambling den / casino you've seen them all. But with Miami once you've seen one group of scantily clad sun bathing vixens you're keen to see another

Looks like I was pretty stoopid not finishing the ep, what with it being the first part in the storyline covering all 3 CSIs.
Guess I'll just have to give up on CSILV next ep. |

Once you've found internet porn, TV's girls in bikinis seems a bit sparsely populated.
Even if your thing is just girls in bikinis.
