A plane carrying over a billion dollars, headed for U.S. banks on the east coast is taken down by someone flashing a laser light at the pilot, rendering him blind. An investigation of the wreckage finds the body of a woman, who was already dead before the crash. With her family having denied an autopsy performed, CSI will need to follow the money trail if they want to solve this crime.
