Ron Saris is once again involved in something criminal, and this time, he threw a man into a pool in which the man was boiled alive in. Afterwards, Horatio and Eric find out that the pool was filled with a very different sort of acid than normal. Meanwhile, Ryan finds Tara’s pills and reports it to Horatio, who is worried about Julia’s life when it completely goes out of control. It even goes as far as Julia taking Ryan, Kyle and Tara hostage in the morgue.

Title: "Dissolved"
The title refers to the plotline as well as a medical term. The CSIs find a dead body in a pool that somehow seems to be "dissolving" in the water. If a substance is dissolving, it means different acids break down the "structure" of a solid to make it a solvent or soft substance instead. |
