Personally I'm glad to see it go. All the characters had become self-righteous pricks. Every week it seemed the CSI team passed judgement on some of the witnesses they interviewed. Let's say a murder happens at a college frat party. How dare these college kids enjoy a party and not write down facts about all of the attendees, didn't they know someone was going to be murdered? Any why aren't they back in their dorm rooms studying instead of drinking and enjoying themselves?

Don't get me started on the miraculous technology in their labs. Most cities can barely afford to pay their workers, but not the CSI cities, they have unlimited budgets.
